At B.I.G. we use several methods for extracting concentrates including closed-loop hydrocarbon extraction, solventless ice-water extraction, distillation and ethanol extraction to provide an artisanal array of resins, rosins, distillate, ingestible and topical products.
Our Pharmacist driven formulations, extraction, and compounded product lines ensure a quality medicine you can depend on. All B.I.G. extracts and products are made by our compounding Pharmacist using the most advanced extraction equipment on the market today.
Cartridges
Our cartridges at Big Island Grown are of the highest quality on the market by starting with clean, quality cannabis and backed up with some of the strictest third party lab testing on all of our products. We create a variety of extracts to use with our cartridges and believe choice is what empowers patients to find the right product for them. Cartridges are great for ultimate discretion, with very little cannabis smell and also a very long lasting per cartridge. We offer a more diverse effect range by containing strain specific terpenes and cannabinoids.

Live Rosin
Live Rosin is a solventless cannabis concentrate that uses our best cannabis cultivars. We start with “live” or fresh frozen plant material that gets gently agitated in freezing cold ice water.
Distillate
Our distillate made available in an easy to dose graduated glass syringe. It is made via fractional distillation; a process that separates THC from cannabis oil and results in a very high purity extract.
BUBBLE HASH
Bubble Hash is a solventless cannabis concentrate that uses flower material as the starting input. The plant material gets gently agitated in freezing cold ice water. During this process the trichomes break off and are collected through a series of fine micron screens. The hash is then freezed resulting in a sandy-like cannabis concentrate.
LIVE ROSIN
Live Rosin is a solventless cannabis concentrate that uses our best cannabis cultivars. We start with “live” or fresh frozen plant material that gets gently agitated in freezing cold ice water. During this process the trichomes break off and are collected through a series of fine micron screens. The hash is then freeze dried and pressed under low heat to perfection.
KIEF
Kief is a solventless extract that is made by sifting dried cannabis flower through mesh screens to isolate the trichomes producing an easy to handle concentrate that is great for topping off and boosting the potency of any flower.
Solvent-Free Concentrates
Live Resin
Live Resin is made by taking “live” or fresh frozen plant material and processing it via a closed-loop, hydrocarbon extraction unit using butane/propane.
The resulting extract is then purged of solvents (solvent-free) and retains a very high percentage of both cannabinoids and terpenes. It is one of the purest forms of concentrated cannabis extracts.
SHATTER
Shatter is a cannabis concentrate extracted from dry flower material using a closed-loop, hydrocarbon extraction unit using butane/propane. This resulting extract is then purged of solvents and retains a high percentage of both cannabinoids and terpenes. The consistency “shatters” like glass, hence the name.
BADDER
Badder/Budder is a cannabis concentrate extracted from dry flower material using a closed-loop, hydrocarbon extraction unit using butane/propane.This resulting extract is then purged of solvents and retains a high percentage of both cannabinoids and terpenes. The consistency is an opaque, taffy-like concentrate similar to butter.
DIAMONDS
Live Resin Diamonds are large THC-a crystals created using hydrocarbon extraction using live, fresh-frozen cannabis. Diamonds are known for potent medicinal effects and are often paired with a terp sauce to create a high-grade dabbing experience that is rich in flavor and potency.
SAUCE
Sauce is a high terpene extract with a wetter consistency that is packed with flavor. Sauce is created with dried or cured flower material, and extracted using instrument grade hydrocarbon gas (Butane/Propane). This resulting extract is then completely purged of solvents while retaining a high percentage of terpenes and cannabinoids. Extractions from dried and cured flower material can have a more diverse terpene profile than some Live extracts giving a more full spectrum experience for users.

Made with Malama Mushroom’s 8-mushroom blend including Reishi, Lions Mane, Chaga, Cordyceps, Shiitake, Maitake, Tremella and Turkey Tail medicated with Live Rosin.
Capsules
Full extract cannabis oil is infused into tapioca maltodextrin. This combination is then compounded into capsules to create an easy to dose and easy to ingest product. We offer our capsules in varying cannabinoid ratios and potencies. All of our capsules are vegan.
